The message on the poster encourages residents to employ Hindu laborers for daily work. The list on the poster includes names along with their respective professions, such as plumbers, mechanics, electricians, barbers, and sweet makers. Next to each name, a contact number is provided.
The individuals behind the poster, identified as Nandu Yadav and Sadhna Yadav, defended their initiative. They stated that the purpose was to support Hindu workers financially and strengthen their community.

The poster has been put up at the Lily Talkies intersection in Jahangirabad. Passersby have been seen stopping to read the notice, with many taking photographs. The poster has evoked mixed reactions. As news of the poster spread, it triggered opposition from certain sections of the community. Some residents have raised objections, arguing that the poster threatens to disrupt the communal harmony of Bhopal, which is celebrated for its Ganga-Jamuni culture—symbolizing unity between Hindus and Muslims. Detractors have also indicated their intention to lodge a formal complaint with the police.

The poster has also led to political friction between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress. The Congress party has accused the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of orchestrating the poster campaign to sow discord in society. Congress spokesperson Abhinav Baraulia alleged that this was part of a broader strategy by the BJP to incite communal hatred.
On the other hand, the BJP has dismissed these accusations. BJP spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi maintained that their party stands for “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with All, Development for All). He countered that the Congress is merely attempting to tarnish the image of the BJP and RSS by spreading baseless claims.
