Raipur, June 26, 2025: A sensational case has come to light in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, where a man named Sheikh Jafar, along with his two brothers—Rehan and Kalam—secretly made a video of a Hindu woman bathing. The incident came to light when the woman saw the flashlight of the mobile, which made her suspicious and she immediately raised an alarm.
Hearing the woman’s scream, her family reached the spot and chased the three accused. Meanwhile, Sheikh Jafar and his brothers attacked the woman’s husband and son with stones and knives. Both were seriously injured in this attack and have been admitted to a nearby hospital, where their condition is said to be critical.
According to police records, cases of assault have been registered against the main accused Sheikh Jafar earlier as well. As soon as the information about the incident spread, anger spread among the local people. Hindu organizations and common citizens surrounded the police station in large numbers and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused.
In view of the situation, police force has been increased and investigation of the case has been started. The police station in-charge says that a case has been registered against all the accused under strict sections and soon they will be arrested and sent to judicial custody.
This incident has given rise to communal tension in Raipur, to control which the administration is on alert mode. The police is appealing to all parties to maintain restraint.
