Trustee of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Kameshwar Chaupal ji passed away

Kameshwar Chaupal has passed away in Delhi. He was ill for a long time. He was undergoing treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. Kidney transplant was done in the same hospital in August 2024.

He had laid the first brick of Ram temple in Ayodhya. He was also a member of Bihar Legislative Council. His death has caused a wave of mourning in BJP. Kameshwar Chaupal was also given the status of Pratham Kar Sevak by the Sangh. PM Modi and CM Yogi have also paid tribute to Kameshwar Chaupal on his demise.

He tweeted- ‘Extremely saddened by the demise of senior BJP leader and trustee of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Kameshwar Chaupal ji. He was an ardent Ram devotee, who made valuable contributions in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Coming from a Dalit background, Kameshwar ji will also always be remembered for his welfare work for the deprived communities of the society. My condolences are with his family and supporters in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!’
