AI-Generated Image of Saint Premanand Sparks Controversy on Social Media

A strange and controversial image of Saint Premanand is circulating across internet media platforms. In this AI-generated picture, Saint Premanand is seen resting on a bed inside his hut, while Goddess Shri Radha, revered as the divine presiding deity of Braj, appears to be serving him. Additionally, Lord Krishna is shown peeking through the window, observing the scene.

This image has sparked widespread reactions and debates online. Many users have criticized it as a display of blind devotion, calling it inappropriate and misleading. Several social media users have remarked that portraying someone being served by Goddess Radha and watched over by Lord Krishna is deeply offensive, especially when those very deities are considered supreme in devotion.

Reacting to the viral image, Shri Radha Kelikunj Ashram, which is associated with Saint Premanand, has issued a strong rebuttal. The Ashram clarified that the image is completely artificial and was created using AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology. They emphasized that such visuals are misleading and not authentic in any way. The image in question shows ducks in a pond and a peacock perched by the window—elements meant to create a divine ambiance, but the Ashram has firmly denied any involvement.

Who Created It? We Don’t Know – We Had Already Warned Everyone: Ashram

Saint Naval Nagari Das, a close aide of Saint Premanand from the Radha Kelikunj Ashram, addressed the issue saying, “We don’t know who is creating or sharing such content. What people say or believe is not in our control. However, we had already issued a public advisory on digital platforms warning against the use of AI to produce or share any photos, videos, or audio content related to Saint Premanand.”

The Ashram has appealed to the public to respect religious sentiments and refrain from creating or sharing any AI-generated religious imagery that misrepresents spiritual figures or divine beings.
