In a deeply saddening development, Das Dada, the beloved photographer associated with The Kapil Sharma Show, has passed away. The news was confirmed by Kapil Sharma’s team, who paid tribute to him in an emotional social media post, saying his absence will be profoundly felt.

Comedian and actor Kiku Sharda also expressed his grief, remembering Das Dada’s contribution to the show and the memories he helped create.

Sharing a video montage in his memory, Kapil’s team wrote:
“Today, our hearts are heavy. We have lost Das Dada — the soul behind the lens who captured countless cherished moments since the very beginning of The Kapil Sharma Show. But he was much more than just an associate photographer — he was family. Always smiling, always kind, and always by our side.”

The post continued:
“His presence brought light and humility to our lives — not just through the camera, but through every moment spent with him. Words can never express how deeply you’ll be missed, Dada. May your soul rest in peace. Your memory will live on — in every frame and in every heart.”

Kiku Sharda also shared the post on his Instagram story with the caption: “We will miss you, Das Dada.”

For those unaware, Das Dada’s real name was Krishna Das. According to his Instagram bio, he was honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2018 for his work.
