Big news from Bihar, Afsana told the truth in the video

A shocking incident has emerged from Ramnagar, in the Bagaha district of Bihar, where a woman named Afsana Khatoon died by suicide after recording a video blaming a man for her distress. The video, now viral on social media, shows Afsana accusing Mohammad Shamshad of ruining her life and being responsible for her death. “I have four children. My life has been destroyed because of Shamshad. My obscene video has been circulated. How will I face my children now?” she says in the video, appealing to the public for justice.

According to family members, Afsana had been living in Delhi with her husband, Rahmat Alam, a construction worker. Due to financial hardship, Shamshad initially offered help to the couple but later allegedly manipulated Afsana into a relationship. After moving to Dubai, Shamshad reportedly began blackmailing her, threatening to release explicit videos he had previously recorded. Under pressure and fear, Afsana was forced to send more compromising videos.

When Afsana returned to her parental home in Mahua, Shamshad allegedly uploaded her videos online, first on Instagram and then on Facebook. Upon discovering the videos, Afsana was devastated and took her own life.

Her mother revealed that on July 19, she and Rahmat Alam confronted Shamshad’s family in Sabeya village, but were allegedly assaulted and driven away. The trauma led Afsana to take the extreme step. She leaves behind four young children, the eldest being just 11 years old.

Following the incident, the Superintendent of Police in Shikarpur visited the family and initiated an inquiry into the matter.
