After this date, any incorrect information recorded in the Birth Certificate will become permanent, and no further amendments will be allowed. Additionally, those who have never applied for a Birth Certificate still have the opportunity to do so before the deadline.

Changes in Regulations

Previously, a Birth Certificate could be issued within 15 years of birth. However, this rule has now been revised. Individuals above 15 years of age can also apply for a Birth Certificate. Initially, the deadline was set for December 31, 2024, but the government has extended it to April 27, 2026.
