In a deeply shocking and tragic incident, prominent businessman Sanjay Kapur, former husband of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, passed away unexpectedly on June 13 in England. He was 53.
Reports indicate that the tragedy occurred during a polo match at the Guards Polo Club in England, where Kapur was actively participating. During the game, a small bee reportedly flew into his mouth and stung him in the throat, triggering a severe allergic reaction that led to a sudden heart attack. Despite immediate medical attention from the on-site doctors, efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kapur was the owner of his own polo team named “Aurus” and was playing against Jaisal Singh’s team, Suján, when the incident occurred.
