Operation Pehchaan Launched to Verify Residents
Following the incident, Noida Police initiated “Operation Pehchaan” to identify and apprehend foreigners living unlawfully in the region. Authorities have warned that landlords failing to conduct proper tenant verification may face strict legal action alongside the tenants.
The arrests and the launch of Operation Pehchaan underline the increasing vigilance by law enforcement against illegal immigration and document forgery. Residents have been urged to cooperate with the police and ensure the proper verification of their tenants to maintain security in the region.
