State-run oil companies have slashed petrol and diesel prices in several cities as part of their Thursday morning revision. A notable reduction was observed in Ghaziabad, part of the National Capital Region (NCR), where petrol prices dropped by ₹0.96 per litre.
Meanwhile, global crude oil prices are witnessing an upward trend again, with Brent crude hovering near $65 per barrel. Despite the fluctuations, metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai have not seen any change in fuel prices today.
According to the latest data, petrol in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) has increased slightly by 8 paise to ₹94.85 per litre, while diesel rose by 9 paise to ₹87.98 per litre. In contrast, Ghaziabad saw petrol prices drop to ₹94.44 per litre (down ₹0.96), and diesel prices fall to ₹87.51 per litre (down ₹1.09).
In Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol rates dropped by ₹0.18 to ₹105.23 per litre, and diesel prices decreased by ₹0.17 to ₹91.49 per litre.

Global crude oil has shown renewed momentum over the past 24 hours. Brent crude is now priced at approximately $64.99 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose modestly to $62.58 per barrel.
