The holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia, which is considered very important for Islam, now the government of Saudi Arabia has taken a big decision regarding this city. More than 2.5 lakh Muslims have been stopped from entering this holy city of Islam, Mecca. This decision of Saudi Arabia during Hajj seems to have dashed the hopes of those who wanted to go to Mecca and perform Hajj. Saudi Arabia has stopped more than ₹259600 people from entering Mecca without a high permit. The main reason behind this is also being cited as preventing overcrowding in Hajj to Mecca.

In fact, the government of Saudi Arabia has blamed all the pilgrims coming to Mecca without a permit for the overcrowding. It is also said that such devotees were included in the number of people who died in the summer last year. However, there is also a provision of giving a fine of up to $5000 and punishment like deportation to those who come to Hajj without a permit. According to the rule, only people with a permit get the experience of performing Hajj, even if they stay in Mecca for the whole year.

According to a report, at present there are officially about 14 lakh Muslims in Mecca and in the coming time this number may increase even more. Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca and it includes many religious researches. In the Muslim religion, every person who is physically and financially capable of doing so has been given the responsibility of performing Hajj.
