International Conversion Racket with Terror Links Busted in Agra; Shocking Transformation of Hindu Girl Exposes Deep Conspiracy

A chilling case has emerged from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, where an international religious conversion syndicate with alleged ties to terror outfits ISIS and Lashkar-e-Taiba has been uncovered. The operation came to light after a Hindu girl returned from Kashmir with a completely altered identity and belief system, setting off alarm bells within her family and the local authorities.

Girl’s Behavior Drastically Changed After Kashmir Visit

The case first surfaced on March 24, 2025, when two sisters were reported missing at the Sadar Bazar police station in Agra. During the investigation, it was revealed that the elder sister had disappeared once before, four years ago, after completing her MPhil and while pursuing her PhD. She had traveled to Kashmir, where she encountered a woman named Saima who allegedly influenced her religious beliefs during coaching sessions and encouraged her to embrace Islam.

Although she was rescued by police due to a landslide that disrupted her journey, her behavior began to change drastically after returning home. Her family claimed that prior to visiting Kashmir, she was a devout Hindu who observed Navratri fasts and worshipped Hindu deities. However, post-return, she began covering herself with a hijab, insisted on following strict purdah, and started mocking Hindu beliefs—referring to Lord Ganesha as “the god with a trunk” and denouncing idol worship as “idolatry”.

Surveillance and Escape With Younger Sister

Concerned about her transformation, the family kept her under strict observation for nearly four years, restricting her movement outside the house. Yet on March 24, she fled again—this time with her 19-year-old younger sister. Authorities eventually traced both girls to Kolkata, where they were recovered.

Conversion Racket Linked to Foreign Terror Funding

Following the recovery, a joint investigation by Uttar Pradesh Police and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) unveiled a deeply rooted conspiracy involving a global network aimed at converting Hindu girls using psychological manipulation and religious radicalization. Investigators believe the syndicate received crores in funding from countries like the UAE, Canada, UK, and the USA, routed through complex channels to avoid detection.

Key operatives in the network have been identified:

  • Ayesha alias SB Krishna from Goa managed the financial operations.
  • Her husband, Shekhar Rai alias Hasan Ali, handled legal documentation and identity forgeries from Kolkata.
  • Manoj alias Mustafa, arrested from Delhi, supplied fake SIM cards and mobile phones, and arranged bus travel to avoid security scrutiny.
  • Abdul Rehman Qureshi from Agra and Osama from Kolkata used YouTube and social media to spread radical Islamic content and anti-Hindu propaganda.

These individuals reportedly circulated videos criticizing Hindu rituals and promoting Islamic fundamentalism. Some clips featured PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath during religious ceremonies, using them as examples to argue that idol worship is forbidden in Islam.

National Security Concerns Raised

The incident has sparked serious national security concerns, as it not only involves foreign funding and terror links but also reveals how young minds are being influenced and radicalized through online platforms and real-world networks. Authorities are expected to expand their investigation across multiple states and possibly international territories.

This shocking case serves as a grim reminder of the silent threats lurking beneath the surface—where manipulation, religious exploitation, and international conspiracies intersect to target vulnerable youth in India.
