Jio New Recharge Plan: Jio again introduced a cheap recharge plan, now the SIM will not be closed

Jio New Recharge Plan 2025: Jio, India’s leading telecom company, is well-known for offering affordable and innovative recharge plans. Recently, Jio has launched a fresh recharge plan that is gaining popularity among users. This new recharge plan comes with an extended validity of 365 days, making it an attractive option for customers.

Special Plan for Non-Internet Users

Until recently, customers faced the issue of being forced to purchase recharge plans bundled with internet data, even if they only required calling and SMS services. Understanding this concern, Jio has now introduced a dedicated plan catering to users who primarily need voice calling and messaging services, without any internet data.

This new annual recharge plan is available at a budget-friendly price, ensuring that your SIM remains active for an entire year without any interruptions. Let’s dive into the details of this newly launched plan.

TRAI’s Mandate Leads to New Plan

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had earlier issued a directive asking telecom companies to offer recharge plans excluding internet data. This was done to accommodate customers who do not require internet services and to prevent them from paying for unnecessary data. In response, Jio has introduced this exclusive non-internet recharge plan.

Jio New Annual Recharge Plan

Jio has unveiled its latest annual recharge plan with a validity of 365 days. This plan is priced at Rs 1958 and offers unlimited voice calling to any network across the country. Additionally, users receive 3600 free SMS for the entire year, making it an ideal choice for those who prioritize calling and messaging over internet usage.

Jio New 84-Day Recharge Plan

Alongside the annual plan, Jio has also introduced a shorter-term recharge plan with a validity of 84 days. Priced at Rs 458, this plan provides unlimited voice calling and 1000 free SMS during the validity period. This plan is also targeted at users who primarily require calling and messaging services.

These two newly launched plans by Jio are expected to benefit non-internet users significantly, providing cost-effective solutions tailored to their communication needs.

Discontinued Recharge Plans

While introducing these new plans, Jio has simultaneously discontinued two of its existing recharge plans. The Rs 479 recharge plan, which offered 6GB of data with an 84-day validity, is no longer available.

Additionally, Jio has removed the Rs 1899 recharge plan, which provided customers with 24GB of data and a 336-day validity. With the discontinuation of these plans, users will need to explore alternative options within Jio’s updated portfolio.

Jio’s latest offerings reflect its commitment to addressing the diverse needs of its customers while aligning with TRAI’s guidelines. These plans are expected to bring relief to those seeking simple and affordable recharge options without internet data.
