Previously, these data add-on packs had validity matching the user’s active base plan, but now, their validity is independently limited.
For instance, if a user’s base plan had a validity of 42 days, the data booster would also remain active for 42 days. However, Jio has now assigned standalone validity to these plans, meaning they will be available for a fixed duration, regardless of the base plan’s validity. Jio’s Rs 139 data plan provides 12GB of data, and like the Rs 69 plan, its validity is also limited to just 7 days. This plan, too, requires an active Jio base plan for usage.
Changes in Jio’s Data Booster Plans
Previously, these two data booster plans were unique as they matched the validity of the user’s base plan. However, with the recent revision, Jio has removed this feature. Now, users must use these data boosters within their limited standalone validity period.
