The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the annual examination result of class 12 on 30 April 2025. This result can be seen on the official website jkresults.nic.in. According to media reports, a total of 1,03,308 students appeared in the 12th board examination this year, out of which 77,315 students were declared successful. Thus, the total pass percentage was 74.83%.
JKBOSE Board Exams 2025: When were the Classes 10 and 12 examinations held?
This year the Class 10 examinations were held from February 15 to March 19 in soft zone areas and from February 21 to March 25 in hard zones. At the same time, class 12 examinations were held from 15 February to 17 March in the soft zone and from 20 February to 24 March in the hard zone.
Marksheet and other details:
The mark sheet of the students will contain all the important information like pass or fail status, marks obtained, grades etc. However, the online marksheet of class 10 will be only provisional. To get the original (hard copy) marksheet, students will have to contact their respective schools a few days after the result is released. This original marksheet will be sent to the schools soon by the board.
JKBOSE 2024 data last year
In 2024, JKBOSE also conducted class 10 examination in two zones – from March 7 to April 4 in the soft zone and from April 4 to May 6 in the hard zone. The result of these examinations was declared on June 13. A total of 1,46,136 students appeared in this examination, out of which 1,15,816 passed and 30,218 students failed. The pass percentage was 79.25%.
Similarly, the 12th class examinations in 2024 were also held in two phases. The examinations were held from March 6 to March 28 in the soft zone and from April 8 to May 11 in the hard zone. Their result was released on June 6.
