Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the camp of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Ram Bhadracharya ji in Sector 6 of Mahakumbh Mela 2025. During his visit, he addressed the devotees, emphasizing the grand scale of Mahakumbh as a global representation of faith and Sanatan Dharma. CM Yogi Adityanath remarked, “Certain forces are conspiring against Sanatan Dharma, but with the unwavering support of millions of saints, no adversary can harm it.” Additionally, the Chief Minister took part in the 151 Kundi Akhand Bharat Sankalp Maha Yagna within the camp.
Opposition to Sanatan Dharma’s Grand Celebration
CM Yogi revealed that approximately 38 crore devotees have taken a holy dip at Triveni Sangam during Mahakumbh so far. He stated that this event, which commenced with the Paush Purnima Snan on January 13, has displayed the magnificence of Sanatan Dharma to devotees worldwide in just 22 days. However, he pointed out that some individuals remain opposed to the grandeur of this religious gathering. He drew parallels between these critics and those who once objected to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and even questioned the necessity of tests, treatments, and vaccinations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Global Recognition of Sanatan Dharma through Ramlala’s Installation
Reflecting on the historic Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala in Ayodhya on January 22, CM Yogi noted that the event has reinforced Sanatan Dharma’s glorious history. He stressed that both the Mahakumbh and the Ram Temple exemplify the strength and cultural heritage of Sanatan Dharma. He firmly stated, “If Sanatan Dharma is secure, India is secure; and if India is secure, humanity thrives.” The Chief Minister also underscored the unwavering legacy of revered saints and acharyas, asserting that those who attempt to malign the faith will not be forgiven by its followers.
Mahakumbh to Continue Until Mahashivratri
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Mahakumbh will continue until February 26, concluding on Mahashivratri. He noted that three Amrit Snans have already taken place, with all Akharas and religious leaders participating in the sacred bath at Triveni Sangam. He warned that any attempts to defame the event would not be tolerated and accused Sanatan Dharma’s opponents of distorting facts, even within the Indian Parliament. He declared, “Parliament holds supreme authority in a democracy, and misleading it will not be acceptable.”
A Call to Stay Vigilant Against Misinformation
In his concluding remarks, CM Yogi Adityanath urged Sanatan Dharma followers to remain alert to the conspiracies targeting their culture. He advised against believing rumors, stating that while disagreements are natural, doubts about Sanatan Dharma’s traditions should have no place. During the program, Swami Ram Bhadracharya assured the Chief Minister that this Mahakumbh would leave an indelible mark in history. He also extended an invitation for CM Yogi to visit Chitrakoot. The event was graced by the presence of Jagadguru Vishnu Swami Santoshacharya Satua Baba.
