In protest against these statements, folk singer Neha Singh Rathore has questioned the alleged purity of storytellers by making a sharp taunt.

Aniruddhacharya had said in a sermon that nowadays people bring 25-year-old girls for marriage, who have “tried sex with four people.” He also said that “If a 25-year-old girl comes as an adult, her youth will slip away somewhere.” This statement was criticized by many people, calling it anti-women and indecent.

Premanand Maharaj’s reaction

After this, a sermon by Saint Premanand Maharaj went viral in which he commented on modern relationships and said: “Breakup with one boy, behavior with another … and behavior is turning into adultery. When one has got into the habit of meeting four men, then one will not have the courage to accept a husband.”

He also said that “Will the one who has met four boys become a true daughter-in-law? And the one who has met four girls become a true husband?”

Neha Singh Rathore’s sharp sarcasm

Reacting to these statements, Neha Singh Rathore wrote on social media: “Will the narrators who make indecent comments about women be considered pure or not? How many narrators out of 100 are pure, Babaji?” His statement has gone viral and many people are seeing it as a protection of women’s dignity.
