Poet Who Filed Sedition Case Against Neha Singh Rathore Receives Threat Call

Abhay Pratap Singh, the poet who filed a sedition case against folk singer Neha Singh Rathore, has alleged that he received threatening phone calls. According to his complaint registered at Hazratganj police station, the calls came from a Delhi-based number following the filing of the FIR. The caller allegedly interrogated him about the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam and then issued threats.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter. Additionally, authorities are also examining the social media post made by Neha Singh Rathore, which led to the original complaint.

Threatening Call from Unknown Number

As per Singh’s statement to the police, he received a phone call around 6:30 PM on Monday from an unknown number. The number displayed the name “BK” on Truecaller. The caller began questioning him about the Pahalgam attack, allegedly saying:
“What do you know about the terrorist attack? Acting like a politician won’t end well for you.”
When Singh asked the caller’s identity, the person reportedly responded with abusive language and disconnected the call. Moments later, the same number called again.

Number Traced to Delhi

Singh later discovered that the mobile number was registered in Delhi. He informed the police about the incident and plans to file a formal written complaint after consulting with his legal team. Inspector Vikram Singh of Hazratganj police station confirmed that a verbal complaint had been received, but no written report had been submitted at the time.
