Jaipur, August 11, 2025 — The Food and Civil Supplies Department has announced a big relief for ration card holders. The department has given a chance again to those consumers whose names were removed from the ration card due to lack of e-KYC. District Logistics Officer Bhaguram Mahala informed that such consumers can now reactivate their ration card by getting Aadhaar seeding done within 15 days.
Where can Aadhaar seeding be done?
This process can be done at the fair price shopkeepers of the district or the district logistics office. After Aadhaar seeding, e-KYC will be mandatory within 15 days, otherwise the names of the consumers will be removed again and they will not get the opportunity to reactivate.
Special facility available till August 31
The District Logistics Officer said that for the convenience of the consumers, till August 31, 2025, ration dealers will provide the facility of Aadhaar seeding through their POS machine. Due to this, consumers will not have to visit the logistics office or e-Mitra centers.
New system for LPG subsidy
Now e-KYC of the entire family is not necessary for LPG ID mapping. LPG seeding will be possible even if e-KYC of any one member of the family is there, so that consumers can avail the subsidy.
Instructions issued to all fair price shopkeepers
All fair price shopkeepers of the district have been instructed to ensure the work of Aadhaar seeding, e-KYC and LPG ID mapping by August 31. This will enable the common people to get the benefit on time and they will not have to face any kind of problem.
Important information
If your name has been removed from the ration card, then get Aadhaar seeding done within 15 days and then complete e-KYC as well. This is the last chance, after which the process of re-adding the name will not happen.
