Recently, an alarming security breach occurred at the actor’s residence, the Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, as an unknown individual attempted to trespass into his home. This marks the second such intrusion in just two days, highlighting growing concerns over the star’s safety.
The first incident occurred on May 20, 2025, when a man managed to break into Salman Khan’s residence. In a worrying repeat just two days later, on May 22, 2025, a woman was caught attempting to enter the actor’s home. The police were alerted quickly and arrested the woman, although the motive behind her actions remains unclear. Investigations are currently ongoing, and authorities are working to determine whether she was simply a fan attempting to catch a glimpse of her idol, or if there was another reason for her trespassing.
Intruder’s Identity and Motive Under Investigation
In the latest incident, which took place earlier today, the woman was detained immediately upon attempting to force her way into the apartment. The police are now questioning her, but the reason behind her actions is yet to be revealed. The authorities have not disclosed whether she harbored any ill intentions or was just an overly enthusiastic admirer.
Turning back to the previous incident, the man who tried to break into the residence on May 20, was swiftly apprehended by the police. The suspect, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh from Chhattisgarh, was found to have unlawfully entered the premises. The police have filed a case against him and are interrogating him to understand his motive—whether he was a fan or if there was a more sinister reason behind his intrusion.
Salman Khan’s Security Continues to Be a Growing Concern
This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced such threats. The actor has been targeted by numerous menacing individuals over the years. Just last month, a chilling threat was sent via WhatsApp to the Worli traffic department, claiming that the person would enter Salman’s house and kill him. Another threat, which mentioned blowing up the actor’s car with a bomb, further raised alarms. In response, the Worli police registered a case and heightened the security around the Galaxy Apartments.
Remarkably, the police were able to track down and arrest the individual who sent the threatening message within 24 hours. The person, identified as Mayank Pandya, a 26-year-old from a village in the Vadodara district of Gujarat, was found to be mentally unstable, according to police reports.
A History of Threats and Increased Security
Local fans and residents are growing increasingly concerned about the safety of Salman Khan, especially considering the history of threats against him. In 2023, after receiving threats from the notorious Lawrence gang, his security was escalated. The Maharashtra government has provided Salman with “Y+” category security, a high-level protection detail.
Further compounding the issue, an incident on April 14, 2024, saw gunshots fired near his residence, heightening fears among fans and the public. These repeated security breaches, combined with the growing number of threats against the actor, have prompted authorities to take the matter very seriously. Salman Khan’s security continues to be a hot topic of discussion, and the recent intrusions at his home serve as a stark reminder of the ongoing risks he faces.
