On the food donation done by the Adani family in Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj has termed it as Mahayagya. He said, “The best wealth is that which is given in charity.” And the Adani family has performed Mahayagya by donating food.

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said, “When we perform yagya, we offer sacrifices to the deities. The people present here (devotees in Mahakumbh) are also considered deities. May God continue to provide them (Adani family) with such abilities so that they continue to do good work. I am very happy.” His statement has come regarding the food donation done by the Adani Group in Mahakumbh, where lakhs of devotees were fed free of cost.
