Tech Company Samsung Unveils Galaxy S25 Edge at MWC 2025

Samsung has officially launched its latest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. The device was initially teased during the Galaxy Unpacked event in January and has now entered the market. Notably, this is the slimmest model in the Galaxy S25 series.

Sleek Design and Premium Build

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge boasts a flat-frame design and a frosted glass back panel, enhancing its premium appeal. The redesigned rear camera module features a vertical dual-sensor arrangement. With a mere 5.84mm thickness, it stands out as one of Samsung’s thinnest smartphones to date.

Weighing approximately 162 grams, this lightweight and slim handset ensures a comfortable grip. To achieve this ultra-slim profile, Samsung has innovated in both battery capacity and camera configuration. The smartphone is expected to hit the global market next month.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Key Specifications

This new device sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution, mirroring the S25 Plus model. To accommodate its slim design, the phone is equipped with a 3,900mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than other models in the series. It supports 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy S25 Edge features a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 primary sensor, the same high-resolution camera found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is also equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide lens, but notably lacks a telephoto camera.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2500 chipset, depending on the region. It comes with 12GB of RAM and offers storage options of up to 512GB.

Samsung Teases Project Moohan XR Headset

Alongside the Galaxy S25 Edge, Samsung also unveiled its first Android XR platform-based extended reality (XR) headset, internally codenamed Project Moohan. This new XR device marks a significant step in Samsung’s expansion into the metaverse and extended reality space.
