In a now-deleted Facebook post, Tej Pratap introduced a woman named Anushka Yadav as his longtime girlfriend, claiming they have been in a relationship for 12 years. However, the post was later taken down, re-uploaded, and deleted again, sparking widespread speculation.

“My Facebook Was Hacked,” Says Tej Pratap
Following the confusion, Tej Pratap took to X (formerly Twitter) to issue a clarification. He alleged that his Facebook account had been hacked and accused unknown individuals of editing his photos maliciously in an attempt to defame him and trouble his family.
“My social media accounts were hacked, and my photos were edited with ill intent to malign me and harass my family. I urge my well-wishers and followers to stay alert and not fall for any rumors,” he posted.

The revelation began with a post from Tej Pratap’s verified Facebook account, featuring a photograph of a young woman alongside a heartfelt message. “I am Tej Pratap Yadav, and the person in this photo with me is Anushka Yadav. We have known each other and been in love for the last 12 years,” the post read. He further mentioned that he had been meaning to share this part of his life for a long time but struggled with how to express it.
The post quickly went viral, drawing thousands of reactions and comments. Shortly after, it was removed, only to reappear briefly again before being deleted for a second time.
Who Is Anushka Yadav?
According to reports, Anushka Yadav hails from Bihar. Her brother, Akash Yadav, was previously associated with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), having served as the state president of the student wing. His appointment was reportedly facilitated by Tej Pratap himself, a move that sparked internal party conflict, especially with state RJD president Jagdanand Singh who opposed the decision. Akash was eventually removed from the position by Tejashwi Yadav in 2021. He is currently affiliated with Pashupati Kumar Paras’s political party as the National Youth President.
Anushka’s father, Manoj Yadav, resides with the family in Langartoli, a locality in Patna.

Tej Pratap’s public revelation triggered sharp reactions from political opponents. BJP spokesperson Anamika Paswan and JDU’s Anjum Ara questioned his ongoing marriage dispute with Aishwarya Rai, asking, “What about the woman whose life was ruined?” Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Snehashish Verma urged people to respect Tej Pratap’s privacy, calling it a personal matter that should not be politicized.
