Tesla Cybertruck Creates Buzz in Surat: Businessman Lavji Dalia Brings It to India

These days, Tesla’s futuristic Cybertruck has become the center of attention in Surat, Gujarat. Residents are thrilled to spot the Cybertruck cruising through the city’s streets. Reports suggest that this electric marvel has been imported from Dubai and is owned by renowned businessman Lavji Dalia. Notably, the Tesla Cybertruck owned by Dalia is India’s first from Tesla’s exclusive Limited Edition Foundation Series.

Price of Tesla Cybertruck in India

Lavji Dalia’s son, Piyush, shared with The Indian Express that, based on his research, this is currently the only Tesla Cybertruck present in India. Piyush also revealed that the family received delivery of the vehicle just a few days ago. The Cybertruck was originally booked at a Tesla showroom located in Texas, USA, around six months prior. As per reports, the base price of this Tesla Cybertruck in Surat is estimated to be approximately ₹60 lakh.

Who is Lavji Dalia?

Lavji Dalia, popularly known as “Lavji Badshah” in Surat, is a well-established real estate magnate. Besides real estate, he is actively involved in the diamond and powerloom industries. Owing to his notable social initiatives, the citizens of Surat lovingly refer to him as “Badshah.”

Dalia heads the Gopin Group, a conglomerate comprising Gopin Developers (real estate sector), Gopin Foundation (a charitable organization), and Gopin Ventures (investment firm). According to the group’s official website, Gopin Group is committed to creating meaningful societal change through its various enterprises and initiatives aimed at human welfare and innovation.

Interestingly, Lavji Dalia’s social media profiles, including Facebook and Instagram, highlight his community work and feature a photograph with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing his influence and recognition in Gujarat.
