If calculated based on India’s income tax structure, a 30% tax rate would apply to the estimated Rs 30 crore profit, amounting to Rs 9 crore. Additionally, the family will need to pay a 4% cess on this tax, which amounts to around Rs 36 lakh. Thus, the total tax liability on this income would reach approximately Rs 9.36 crore.

A notable figure in this success story is Pintu Mahara, a Prayagraj sailor who played a crucial role in the Mahakumbh earnings. Pintu reportedly owned 70 boats himself, for which he took a bank loan and even mortgaged his jewelry to expand his fleet.
