One such player is TVS, which recently unveiled the electric version of its popular Jupiter scooter at the 2025 Auto Mobility event. The electric Jupiter is equipped with a 2.44 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, delivering an impressive range of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. It also features a 4 kW BLDC motor, enabling the scooter to reach a top speed of 85 km/h.
In addition, the scooter supports fast charging technology, allowing it to charge from 0% to 80% in just 30 minutes, making it ideal for daily commutes and short trips.

TVS has packed the electric Jupiter with a range of modern features, including:
- A fully digital TFT touchscreen dashboard
- Smartphone connectivity and GPS navigation

The ex-showroom price is expected to be between ₹85,000 and ₹95,000. TVS plans to officially launch the electric Jupiter by the end of 2025. Once launched, customers will be able to book it by paying just ₹15,000 upfront, with the remaining amount available through financing and EMI options.
