Vodafone Idea Introduces Two Affordable Recharge Plans Following TRAI’s Directive

Telecom provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) has rolled out two budget-friendly recharge plans, offering extended validity of up to 365 days. This move follows the footsteps of Jio and Airtel, both of which had previously introduced similar voice-only plans. However, Vi recently discontinued its earlier voice-only plan and has replaced it with two new options. These plans are specifically tailored for 2G users, feature phone owners, and those who rely on a secondary SIM for communication.

Vodafone Idea’s 84-Day Recharge Plan

Vi has introduced an affordable plan priced at Rs 470, designed for users who primarily require voice services. This plan provides a validity of 84 days, ensuring uninterrupted calling for nearly three months. Customers will benefit from unlimited voice calls to any number across India, along with free national roaming. Additionally, the plan includes 900 complimentary SMS, making it a comprehensive option for budget-conscious users.

Vodafone Idea’s Annual 365-Day Plan

For those looking for a long-term solution, Vi has launched a 365-day recharge plan priced at Rs 1,849. This plan offers unlimited calling to any network within India, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the year. Users will also receive 3,600 free SMS over the validity period, along with the advantage of free national roaming. This plan is an ideal choice for individuals who prefer extended validity without frequent recharges.

Discontinuation of the Rs 1,460 Plan

Vodafone Idea has removed its Rs 1,460 voice-only plan from its website. Previously launched with a validity of 270 days, this plan offered unlimited calling across India, free national roaming, and 100 complimentary SMS per day. However, the company has now replaced it with the newly introduced 84-day and 365-day plans, which provide better value and longer validity options for users.

With these updates, Vodafone Idea aims to cater to the needs of budget-conscious customers while ensuring seamless communication services nationwide.
