In Vrindavan, Mathura, unauthorized shops and businesses are reportedly operating under the name of Saint Premanand Maharaj and his ashram. Upon receiving information about these activities, the ashram has issued a public notice, urging devotees to exercise caution. The notice advises that if any individual, disciple, or supposed saintly person uses the ashram’s name to mislead others, people should remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to such deception.
Commercial Exploitation Using Ashram’s Name
It has come to the ashram’s attention that several individuals are exploiting the name of Saint Premanand Maharaj and the ashram for personal gains. Some people have erected boards at guest houses inviting devotees for special darshan of the saint, while others have opened shops selling Kanthi malas and other religious items under the ashram’s name.
Real Estate and Donation Frauds
Additionally, the ashram has learned that certain individuals are conducting real estate transactions, falsely claiming affiliation with the ashram. Others are reportedly collecting donations by falsely asserting that the ashram operates a cowshed.
Public Notice from Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram
In response to these fraudulent activities, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram issued a public notice on Friday, clarifying that the ashram has no branches beyond Vrindavan. The notice explicitly states that the ashram is not involved in the sale of land, flats, plots, or building construction. It also does not own or operate any hotel, restaurant, dhaba, traveler rest house, hospital, Gurukul school, or cowshed.
