Hoyasala’s Final Innings
The player was Hoyasala, a 34-year-old middle-order batsman and pace bowler from Karnataka. He had made his mark in Under-25 cricket and the Karnataka Premier League. As he celebrated the win with his team, joy still glowing on his face, he suddenly struggled to breathe and collapsed.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but sadly, he passed away on the way. Doctors later confirmed that he had suffered a cardiac arrest.
