A big revelation has been made about Jamaluddin alias Changur, a resident of Balrampur, accused of running a conversion racket. A close aide of Changur has made a sensational claim. According to him, Changur had deep connections with many other officials including a former IPS officer. These officers together used to protect Changur in the work of illegal conversion and took a hefty amount in return.
It is alleged that the former IPS officer also provided police help from time to time to save Changur from action. Meanwhile, Changur’s political ambition has also come to the fore. He wanted to establish himself in politics to reach power. For this, he had planned to field a former police officer resident of Uttaraula in the assembly elections.
At the same time, a red diary has been recovered from the room of Jamaluddin alias Changur’s special Neetu alias Nasreen, in which the names of many leaders have been found recorded. Allegedly, Changur had given a hefty amount to these leaders during the UP assembly elections. Many more political secrets are expected to be revealed from this ‘red diary’. Currently, ATS, ED and other agencies are engaged in investigation.
Amidst all this, it has been revealed that Changur’s conversion network extends outside India to Nepal. When the ‘Aaj Tak’ team reached across the border to investigate, shocking facts came to light. In many villages in the border areas of Nepal, Muslim youths lured Hindu girls and converted them. The victims themselves have narrated their ordeal on camera. Many girls have not returned yet. Their families have been suffering the pain of disappearance for years.
It is known that Changur is accused of running a large-scale conversion racket and transacting crores through hawala. ED is investigating this transaction and money trail. It is suspected that conversion activities were being carried out in different parts of the country through illegal funding. Currently, many more accused including Changur, Neetu, Naveen have been arrested.
