A Husband’s Tribute to His Late Wife
In a heartwarming gesture of love and devotion, Vijay Singh, a resident of Gobarhi village in Manjhi block, Chhapra district, Bihar, has built a magnificent Shiva temple worth Rs 2 crore in memory of his late wife, Renu Devi. Renu Devi passed away on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, and her final wish was for a Shiva temple to be constructed in her remembrance. Determined to fulfill her last wish, Vijay Singh spared no effort in making it a reality.
Grand Construction with Skilled Artisans
To ensure the temple’s grandeur, Vijay Singh enlisted skilled artisans from Rajasthan. The result is the majestic Shivshakti Dham, an architectural marvel now standing in the village. This year, the temple’s Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) will take place on Mahashivratri, with large-scale preparations already underway. The temple’s design is breathtaking, featuring intricate carvings and an imposing Shivling installed at its heart, drawing visitors from near and far.
Enthusiasm Among Villagers
For Vijay Singh, building this temple is not just about honoring his wife’s memory; it is also about creating a sacred space for the entire community. He expressed that the temple will forever remind people of his wife and serve as a vital spiritual hub for the village.
Local resident Devendra Singh shared that the villagers are overwhelmed with joy and excitement. The temple has already become a revered place, attracting numerous devotees for worship. More than just a religious site, this temple stands as a powerful testament to love and dedication, immortalizing a husband’s deep affection for his late wife.
