Special Offer for Ujjwala Yojana Beneficiaries
Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, beneficiaries are set to receive a second gas cylinder free of cost as part of the Holi celebrations. District Supply Officer Amit Tiwari announced that there are 1,07,326 Ujjwala beneficiaries in the district. However, about 20% of these beneficiaries have yet to complete their e-KYC for their gas connections.

Beneficiaries must complete their e-KYC to avail themselves of this benefit. Amit Tiwari emphasized the importance of this process during a meeting with gas agency operators. He directed them to inform all Ujjwala beneficiaries about the e-KYC requirement and assist them in completing it promptly.
Strict Monitoring and Checking Campaign
The supply department will also conduct a thorough inspection campaign during this period. Establishment owners, sweet shop operators, restaurant managers, and banquet hall operators have been instructed to use only commercial cylinders at their premises and maintain proper records. These records must be available for inspection upon request.

To complete the e-KYC process, beneficiaries must provide the following documents:
- Aadhaar card of the person in whose name the gas connection is registered
- Gas consumer number
- Beneficiary’s email ID
- Beneficiary’s mobile number
- Passport-size photograph
