Get Your Traffic Challan Waived or Reduced at National Lok Adalat 2025

If you have received a traffic challan for violating traffic rules but have yet to pay it due to the high amount, there is a great opportunity to get your fine reduced or even waived. The National Lok Adalat 2025 is set to take place in just six days, on March 8, providing a chance to settle old pending challans.

Importance of Lok Adalat for Traffic Challans

Lok Adalat is organized to provide relief to the public by resolving pending cases efficiently. To benefit from this initiative, you must download your challan or notice before the event on March 8. The Delhi Police has announced that challan downloads will be available starting from 10 AM on March 3 on their official website.

How to Download Your Traffic Challan

It is important to note that only 60,000 challans can be downloaded per day. Once the total limit of 1,80,000 challans is reached, the download link will be closed. To access your challan, visit Delhi Traffic Police’s official website.

Courts Where Lok Adalat Will Be Held

To ensure accessibility, Lok Adalat will be conducted at various courts across Delhi, including:

  • Dwarka Court
  • Karkardooma Court
  • Patiala House Court
  • Rohini Court
  • Rouse Avenue Court
  • Saket Court
  • Tis Hazari Court

On the scheduled day, you must arrive at the designated courtroom on time. You can either present your case personally or hire a lawyer to represent you.

Lok Adalat 2025 Dates

If you are unable to attend the Lok Adalat on March 8, additional sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • May 10, 2025
  • September 13, 2025
  • December 13, 2025

It is important to remember that only normal traffic rule violations are considered for waiver or reduction. If your challan was issued due to a criminal offense or an accident, it cannot be settled through Lok Adalat.
