In a strong response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, the Indian Armed Forces launched a high-intensity military operation late Wednesday night. The Indian Air Force targeted nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) using precision missile strikes, as part of a mission code-named Operation Sindoor.
Confirming the operation, the Indian Army posted on social media platform X:
“Justice delivered. Jai Hind! #PahalgamTerrorAttack.”
In the aftermath of the strike, Muslim religious leader Khalid Rashidi Firangi Mahali welcomed the operation, stating:
“The launch of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Army and the way they dismantled the terror camps was a much-needed step. We wholeheartedly support this action. After the Pahalgam attack, every Indian was looking to the Army with hope—and today, people across the country are celebrating. It’s a significant move to free the nation from the clutches of terrorism. We must eliminate terrorism at its root to protect innocent lives. I extend my congratulations to the Indian Army and the Government of India for this decisive step, which I believe has dealt a major blow to terrorism.”
This strategic strike demonstrates India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism and sends a clear message across the border: acts of terror will not go unanswered.
