In what is being hailed as “India’s Laden Moment”, India has reportedly neutralized Jaish-e-Mohammed chief and one of the most wanted global terrorists, Masood Azhar, during a precision strike under Operation Sindoor. According to a report by India TV, Azhar was present at the terror outfit’s central base in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, when Indian forces launched a targeted assault.
Sources claim that Masood Azhar and his brother were both killed in the operation. The airstrike was part of India’s larger counter-terrorism initiative in response to the recent attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where Indian soldiers were martyred.
The Markaz base in Bahawalpur has long been under international scrutiny for being a key training and operational hub for Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists. The strike, reportedly carried out using precision-guided munitions, dealt a decisive blow to the leadership of the group.
While the Indian government has yet to officially confirm the deaths, sources suggest that a formal announcement could be made at 10 AM today.
